The highs and lows of setting up a small business

Hi, I'm Olivia from Muddy Paws Adventures. Welcome to my very first blog. Now, I know it's probably not the best idea to start your very first blog with something negative, but here goes. I am going to start with the lows, then we can move onto the beautiful, soul lifting, angel singing highs....

It's been a busy week for us at Muddy Paws Adventures. I've seen more of my laptop then I have my lovely patient partner, trying to figure out how Google Ads work, Facebook Ads work and everything else in-between. I have to say it's not something I have enjoyed, but only because I haven't a Scooby Doo what I'm doing! It's all trial and error.... and lots of errors! I have spent far too much money on products I don't even want or need.  It's a steep learning curve, that's for sure. And don't get me started on my laptop, it is forever crashing half way through my work. I guess I know what I'll be wanting for Christmas! Ok, so that's the deep, dark lows out of the way.

On a brighter note, we have spent our weekend posting flyers around Neston. I was happy to see people in their gardens, it gave me a chance to say hello and tell them a little bit about me and Muddy Paws Adventures. It was lovely to speak to so many friendly people. Oh, and I got to meet some of their dogs and get cuddles too! I was thrilled to learn that local businesses were happy to take some of my flyers and business cards to put in their shop. I am very grateful to them for their support. Keep an eye out for us over the next few weeks as we continue to distribute flyers. Come out and say hello! We're a friendly bunch.

We are really looking forward getting to know you and your beloved dogs.
